LUSH

LUSH is the collaborative party series of Monika Martinez and A7A label head Lawrence Lee. Born in New York to Korean-Brazilian parents, Lawrence is now based in Berlin and hosts a monthly radio show on Rinse France. LUSH invites up-and-coming artists like LUZ1E, who, much like Lawrence, confidently navigates between snappy techno, house and futuristic electro tunes. LUZ1E is part of the Berlin-based collective Femme Bass Mafia, which promotes greater diversity and visibility of FLINTA* in nightlife and bookings. For the first LUSH night at Panorama Bar, they have also invited the dynamic duo MDSM known for their energetic sets and canadian artist Venetta, all now based in Berlin. The latter founded the NuZi collective five years ago with the aim of increasing the involvement of queer women of color, trans people and indigenous women in the club scene in her then hometown of Vancouver.
