It's been exactly 20 years since Nathan Fake released his first single on James Holden's then fledgling label, Border Community. “Outhouse” laid the foundations for an extraordinary musical career: Picking up where early-90s UK electronica left off, he created beautifully meandering melodies, psychedelia orchestrated with a natural touch and hypnotic undertow, making a lasting impact on the 00s that hasn't lost any of its radiance even six albums later. File under: mushroom house. As an exclusively live act, he also set standards in terms of live techno improvisation, as you can experience tonight at Säule as part of our Klubnacht. In addition to a live act by modular magician Colin Benders, Reef residents Darwin and Esposito will take over the decks of Berghain, while Panorama Bar will be hosting acts such as Cinthie, Grace Sands and Seth Troxler as well as the American poet, singer, producer and resident DJ of Detroit's Temple Bar, Tammy Lakkis.
