Klubnacht

London-based producer Ryan Lee West, better known as Rival Consoles, was the first act to be signed to the Erased Tapes record label 15 years ago. Since then, over the course of nine albums, he has been working on a kind of humanisation of electronic music equipment that makes his work sound organic and personal, similar to that of Jon Hopkins or Nils Frahm. In his debut appearance at Klubnacht, Rival Consoles will be presenting his captivating mix of ambient, electronic shoegaze and minimal techno live at Säule. Also making her Berghain debut is Spanish DJ Anika Kunst, who releases her jagged, chord-driven techno on Ben Sims' Symbolism and is a resident at the Macarena Club in Barcelona. Brooklyn-based DJ/producer Antenes' sets range from acid-heavy techno to shimmering electro and dark ambient sounds. Her productions, created on self-built sequencers and modular synthesizers, have been released on L.I.E.S. and the Canadian ambient label Silent Season.
