Klubnacht

Hailing from the UK, Mark Broom has been one of the most consistent techno producers of the last 30 years. Discogs lists over 180 12-inch releases and a handful of albums, and it can be assumed that he has had a hand in almost 1,000 releases. It all started in the Second Summer of Love in 1989, when he was a teen on vacation in Tenerife and got hooked on the emerging sounds of Chicago and acid house. Back home, he tried to track down these new styles, got himself a record player and laid the foundations for his musical career. For this edition of Klubnacht, Broom will play live on the Berghain floor. One of the first generation of Berlin house DJs is Clé, who was a resident at all the major house and techno clubs after reunification, such as Planet, E-Werk and WMF, still championing a super-sleek, Chicago-influenced sound today on labels such as Nu Groove and Rejected. He and his partner Eva Be will be playing at Panorama Bar. And the highlight on Sunday evening is a live act by Strahil Velchev aka KiNK at Säule – hyper epic!
