Polari

Polari Records is a hi-NRG house label run by Cormac. The name refers to the slang of gay subculture in Britain until the legalization of homosexual acts in the late 60s – a constantly evolving mixture of Italian, English, circus jargon, Yiddish and Romani. The Polari label night at Panorama Bar welcomes Josh Caffe, a super-charismatic live act who has also made a name for himself as a DJ, producer and vocalist – be it with his solo productions, as frontman of the acid house group Paranoid London or as a featured guest with Honey Dijon. Visiting from France, Jordan Nocturne – relatively new to the label with the Dolly EP (its title means “pretty” in Polari) – has been DJing since the age of 13 and has released on Correspondant, Permanent Vacation and his own label Nocturne. There will also be DJ sets from Chinaski, fka.m4a, Glasgow duo LEZZER QUEST and Romy. Heartcore vibes!
