Finest Friday

Elke lives in Berlin, works in Kreuzberg record shop Hard Wax and hosts her own radio show Future Friends on Radio 80000. A resident DJ of bunker club Open Ground in Wuppertal, she plays a bass-heavy range of electro, garage, jungle and percussive techno. In November, René Pawlowitz released two new 12-inches on his label Power House under his 90s-inspired breakbeat techno project Head High: “2nd-Hand Bassline” and the tracks on HOME.HOUSE.HARDCORE.2 / Tracks are perfectly tailored to the dancefloor, as if the golden era of techno and house never stopped and is still thriving today. The Finest Friday lineup is rounded off by DJ Pete and British DJ/producer Willow of Workshop fame.
