Klubnacht

Landing on International Women's Day, this weekend's Klubnacht features exclusively FLINTA acts, just like the previous night's 1. FC GRRRLS UNITED. deBasement is an electronic duo from the queer DIY rave scene in Los Angeles consisting of Alli Logout, otherwise the singer of post-punk band Special Interest, and DJ/producer Margo XS. With a feminist angle, they have released catchy and energetic dancefloor tracks such as “Front Left Speaker” and most recently the F.F.F.T. DJ EP on Real Life Music. For this edition of Klubnacht, they are performing live in Berlin for the first time, Sunday evening on the Säule floor. French artist Maemm and Dutch artist BELLA are also making their DJ premieres at Berghain and Panorama Bar, respectively. With a hypnotic style influenced by ambient and experimental genres, Maemm is co-founder of Paris collective La Taquinerie, regularly DJing Thursdays at Le Gare / Le Gore alongside many other venues in the city such as Glazart, Badaboum and La Machine du Moulin Rouge. Amsterdam's BELLA plays and produces uplifting house music with a 90s edge, charged with chunky bass, neon-colored synths and a solid foundation of beats.
