Sound Metaphors 10 year anniversary part I

The tenth anniversary celebration of Sound Metaphors will bring some extraordinary artists to Berlin who are rarely seen live here. It starts at 19:30 with concerts at Berghain, where Suzanne Ciani, Berlin sound researcher and mastering engineer Rashad Becker and co-founder of the cross-genre label Terenor, Egregore, will be playing live. Suzanne Ciani is a US-American composer and sound designer who gained recognition as an electronic music pioneer, especially with the Buchla synthesizer. In the 70s and 80s, her innovative soundscapes shaped new age and ambient music as well as the world of advertising and film soundtracks.One of the first women to achieve international acclaim in the male-dominated electronic music scene, she has received several Grammy nominations for her work. On her album Sunergy, her collaborative album with Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith released on RVNG Intl. in 2016, she joined a new generation of female musicians. Also playing for us for the first time is British dub musician Mad Professor, considered one of the most influential representatives of modern dub. Born in Guyana in 1955, he later moved to London and founded his own studio, Ariwa Sounds. Since the 80s, he has been shaping the dub and reggae scene with innovative production methods and digital effects and has crafted brilliant remixes for the likes of Massive Attack.

10 years anniversary of Sound Metaphors event will start with a live concert featuring

Doors to the concert open at 7:30PM and concert ends at 11PM.
Ticket to the concert will also allow entry to the main party event after the concert. 
Regular party event starts at 23:00 in Panorama Bar and Berghain floors.
