Based in Thailand, Siamese Twins Records offers a home for authentic, tribally rooted sounds, presenting Asian artists and creating symbiotic dialogues with producers around the globe. For the label's first showcase at Säule, DJ/prodcuer Sunju Hargun is here from Bangkok, whose taste has been described as “forward-thinking with chameleonic capabilities”, rooted in psychedelic sounds that tap into both body and mind. He has invited traditional instrument player, composer, and DJ Temple Rat from Shanghai, China, tonight create intricate and immersive soundscapes in her hybrid live/DJ set. Rounding out the lineup is special guest Benedikt Frey, who has an impressive résumé with releases on Live at Robert Johnson, ESP Institute and Hivern Discs.
