Having just released their debut albums on German record label and artistic platform raster, »debut« presents two new live performances by Danish sound artist and composer Alexander Tillegreen, and France-based, US-born sound and visual artists Pierce Warnecke.

Alexander Tillegreen’s music and sound works are very physical, moving between the sensorial mesmerizing and playfully challenging and further towards the tranquil, evocative, and introspective. Often using voice and speech as material, different connotations and narratives appear and are combined with psychoacoustics into an arabesque of escalating streams, massive blocks of bass, heavy granular synth sequences, and disorientating polyrhythmic patterns.

Pierce Warnecke is a multidisciplinary digital artist working equally in the sonic and visual domains via performances, installations and compositions. His projects interlace experimental music, digital arts and video art, and are often influenced by the observation of the effects of time on matter and the intensity and limits of sensory experience.
