Damon Wild is a DJ, producer, and label founder from New York who has been a defining figure of the American techno scene since the early 90s. Raised in New Orleans, he discovered his passion for electronic music at an early age and began DJing as a teen. In the early 90s, he moved to New York, where he initially worked with Sonic Groove Records in Brooklyn and shared an apartment with Joey Beltram. Shortly thereafter, he founded his own label, Synewave, which quickly became a central platform for raw, hypnotic techno. His musical style is characteristic of the US underground: driving, minimalist and often infused with hallucinatory acid lines. In the history of 21st-century club music, Frankfurt-based Rajko Müller, also known as Isolée, is considered a playful poet who constantly tests the boundaries of the genre. He made his breakthrough in 1998 with “Beau Mot Plage,” a surreal, luminous classic that established him as a pioneer of microhouse. But Isolée continued to evolve: with albums such as Well Spent Youth, released on DJ Koze's label Pampa, and his latest album Resort Island, released on his eponymous imprint, he demonstrated a more mature, emotional sound, which can be experienced live at Panorama Bar tonight.
