Kid Machine derived his stage name from Kraftwerk's The Man-Machine after someone said he “sounded like the child of Kraftwerk”. Musically, he traverses retro electro, Italo disco, cosmic synth sounds and cinematic melancholy. In 2012, he became the first British artist to release on I-F's cult label Viewlexx. Subsequent singles and albums on the likes of Red Laser and HC Records have received plenty of play on Intergalactic FM. At this edition of our Italorama Bar series, Kid Machine will be playing live. There will also be DJ sets by Berlin's own Italo disco collective Automaticamore; Amsterdam record store, label and distributor Bordello A Parigi's soundsystem; Belgian veteran John Noseda; and Berlin-based Brazilian Paty Vapor aka half of the duo Wisdom Tits and member of Franz Scala's Slow Motion crew.
