Laundrette

Roi Perez, Partok and David Elimelech present another edition of Laundrette. CC:DISCO!’s musical journey began at Melbourne’s community radio station PBS 106.7FM, where she hosted the show Club Feeling for years. Her approach draws from deep archives and blends mid-tempo disco, late-era boogie, house, Hi-NRG and South African bubblegum pop. Belfast-born, Berlin-based Sally C runs the label Big Saldo’s Chunkers, drawing inspiration from late-90s US house and Euro-sound. Paul Wolsch, who cut his teeth as a co-founder of various underground venues in Costa Rica and helped shape the San José club Vertigo for years, is now in Berlin, where he focuses on tightlystructured house with Chicago and acid influences. Samira, once a resident DJ at the iconic Club Kabareet and co-curator of the compilation Letters to a Future Palestine, enhances the night with deep house, UK garage and an upbeat dance sound.
