Klubnacht

With his first release, the double EP Introducing Michael J. Blood, the titular producer created a modern classic. Made in the style of a mixtape, the EP had all the right stuff to make lovers of Chicago house and Detroit techno gush, selling out in no time – the same goes for the massive follow-up album As Is, issued last year. It's not entirely clear who hides behind the alias, but for fans of Theo Parrish, Moodymann, Actress or Omar-S, tonight's Klubnacht should be essential, as Michael J. Blood will not only play his first live set at Panorama Bar, but also a joint DJ set with Ryan Elliot. Also worth noting: one of the rarer gigs by DJ Sprinkles, the deep-house alias of Terre Thaemlitz, as well as another live set, this one by Utrecht jazz and hip-hop connoisseur Colin Benders, who has become a master of modular synthesizers in recent years.
