Finest Friday

This edition of Finest Friday brings two live acts to Panorama Bar. For two decades, Fred P has championed deep house that takes the “deep” part very seriously. His tracks offer introspective, almost spiritual soundscapes influenced by house pioneers from his native New York such as Larry Heard as well as jazz and ambient. Even with nine albums under his belt, 2024 was the most productive year of his career to date. The second live act is Leipzig-based Jan Barich aka Map.ache, who has not only breathed new life into the German house scene and beyond as co-founder of the KANN label. For several years now, he has been in the best of hands with Giegling, the label releasing his dreamy soundscapes and dancefloor tracks. In addition to DJ Dustin, Cosmo from South Korea is another DJ from the extended Giegling cosmos. And Seoul-based Hyojin Min has been spinning a mix of psychedelic disco, acid and 90s techno since 2017.
